Why NCDC, Why Now
The National Community Development Corporation (NCDC) is a member-governed civic capital institution helping North Carolina communities organize people, pool resources, strengthen housing, and govern what they create together.
NCDC is different by design: member-governed, community-owned, and built from the ground up by the people who already call this place home.
We are not launching a nonprofit. We are launching a corporation the community owns.
